After a very successfully completion of ACC Middle East Cup and Gulf Cup Last year , Kuwait Cricket Association (KCA) is invited by Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to host the ACCMiddle East Cricket Tournament 2006 in which countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Bahrain , Saudi Arab along with Kuwait will participate a round robin league based tournament which is scheduled to be held from 17 th -24 th of February 2006 at the lush green outfield of KOC Ahmadi and Kuwait Entertainment City Cricket grounds.

This is really pleasing fact and shows the confidence in Kuwait Cricket Association’s abilities under the president ship of HE Sheikh Dhari Fahed Al Ahmed Al Sabah by the Asia’s apex cricket body Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

Kuwait Cricket Association is delighted for being given the opportunity to host the “ACCMiddle East Cricket Tournament 2006” in Kuwait.

Kuwait Cricket Association (KCA) is pleased to announce that it will be selecting the Kuwait National team to participate in the ACC ME Cup The eligibility criteria, either Kuwaiti passport holder or Born in Kuwait or have been a resident of Kuwait for at least a minimum of four years. The qualification Rules and Regulations as defined in the ICC Code of Conduct Standard Playing Conditions will be strictly followed. The cut-off date for the residential qualification will be 15th February 2006 .
